Andor Finale Propels Star Wars Series to No. 1 on Streaming Charts

The conclusion of Andor’s second season has delivered a major streaming victory for Disney+, with the critically acclaimed Star Wars series claiming the No. 1 overall spot on Nielsen’s streaming charts for the week of May 12–18, 2025. The final three episodes of the season dropped on May 13, driving total watch time to an impressive 931 million minutes—a series high and a 101 million minute increase from the previous week.

This marks the fourth consecutive week Andor has set a personal best in viewership, reinforcing the show’s status as a standout within the Star Wars universe and among prestige streaming television. Its performance edged out Bluey, which came in second with 922 million minutes, also on Disney+.

In a related boost, the Star Wars feature film Rogue One—which directly connects to the events of Andor—reentered the streaming movie charts, tying for ninth place with 179 million minutes viewed. The synergy between the series and the 2016 film underscores the franchise's continued appeal and Disney’s effective content strategy linking series and films.

Outside the galaxy far, far away, other notable titles included Netflix’s You, which maintained a strong presence with 779 million minutes in its fourth week post-finale. Hulu’s reality series The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives also made a splash, ranking third among original shows and ninth overall with 680 million minutes. Netflix’s The Four Seasons, which topped the chart the previous week, slipped out of the top 10 but still performed well in the originals category.

On the movie side, Netflix’s Nonnas held the top spot for a second week, pulling in 848 million viewing minutes, up 11% from its debut.

With Andor ending on a high note, Lucasfilm and Disney+ have a major streaming success under their belt—one that continues to elevate the Star Wars brand across platforms.
