The official trailer for Andor Season 2 has arrived, offering an intense glimpse into the next chapter of Cassian Andor’s journey toward the Rebel Alliance. The new footage expands on previously released clips, providing the clearest picture yet of the series’ story and themes.
The trailer opens with Cassian (Diego Luna) moving furtively through a hallway, carrying a satchel—possibly explosives—while expressing frustration with his role in the Rebellion. His words, “I came with you to be part of something,” echo the internal conflict he later voices in Rogue One.

A key sequence shows Cassian in a red Imperial test pilot uniform alongside a woman in matching attire. They appear to be involved in stealing an experimental TIE fighter, with Stormtroopers arriving in the aftermath. Meanwhile, the enigmatic Luthen Rael (Stellan Skarsgård) ominously declares, “Then it will burn. Brightly.”
Saw Gerrera (Forest Whitaker) looms large in the trailer, appearing more disheveled and radicalized as he warns, “Revolution is not for the sane.” His division from Mon Mothma (Genevieve O’Reilly) seems inevitable, as she delivers a fiery speech in the Imperial Senate, declaring, “The monster will come for us all.”
With the return of Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn), Dedra Meero (Denise Gough), and Syril Karn (Kyle Soller), plus high-stakes heists and political intrigue, Andor Season 2 is shaping up to be an action-packed and emotionally charged conclusion. The series returns to Disney+ on April 22.
