Star Wars fans can now get their hands on the highly anticipated Mara Jade Skywalker Legacy Lightsaber set, which debuted yesterday at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The limited-edition collectible is now available for purchase in Tatooine Traders and is available online through the Disney Store.
Priced at $325, the set comes in a decorative gray box with sliding doors, featuring the Empire’s emblem on one side and the New Jedi Order symbol on the other. The Aurebesh text on the box reads “Legends,” a nod to Mara Jade’s status in Star Wars lore. Inside, fans will find a sleek silver lightsaber hilt with black and orange accents, inspired by the character’s original promotional artwork. The blade, sold separately, glows with Mara Jade’s signature purple hue when attached.
Alongside the lightsaber, the set includes a special variant cover of Star Wars: Mara Jade – By The Emperor’s Hand #1 and an individually numbered certificate. Limited to 3,500 units worldwide, approximately 1,800 are available at Walt Disney World, with the remaining stock split between Disneyland’s Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities and the Disney Store.
Mara Jade, originally introduced in Timothy Zahn’s Heir to the Empire, remains a fan-favorite character. Though classified as part of Star Wars Legends, speculation persists about her return to canon following the reintroduction of Grand Admiral Thrawn.
