A new Star Wars game announcement may be just around the corner, and the galaxy of fan speculation is already in hyperspace.

With an ever-expanding universe that spans epic conflict, intimate character studies, and everything in between, gaming has long been one of the richest ways to explore stories set in a galaxy far, far away. Over the last decade, fans have piloted starfighters in Battlefront, followed Cal Kestis through the aftermath of Order 66 in the Star Wars Jedi series, and even stepped into a blaster-only underworld in Ubisoft’s Star Wars Outlaws. Each title has offered a fresh lens on the saga, proving Star Wars can thrive far beyond lightsabers and Sith Lords.
Now, according to reliable insider Kurakasis, a new Star Wars game reveal is imminent — and it’s not Star Wars Eclipse or EA’s turn-based tactics title Zero Company. That has left fans buzzing with possibilities. Many are hoping for the long-anticipated Star Wars Jedi 3, especially given EA has already confirmed another entry in the series. With Jedi: Survivor revealed just three years after its predecessor and released a year later, it wouldn’t be surprising if a third adventure is close to being announced.
Others are placing their bets on the resurrection of the troubled Knights of the Old Republic remake. First unveiled in 2021, the project has since gone quiet amid reports of developer changes and substantial reworking. If it returns, it may be treated as a brand-new game altogether.
A third possibility is the long-rumored Total War game set in the Star Wars universe, timed suspiciously close to an expected reveal from the strategy franchise this week.
Whatever the mystery title is, fans likely won’t have to wait long before the next Star Wars game steps into the spotlight.
