Just in time for Life Day, Star Wars fans can now bring home their own version of Sabine Wren’s famously moody companion from Ahsoka: a screen-accurate Loth-cat collectible. Launching November 17, 2025, as part of Disney’s Gift the Galaxy celebration, this new addition to the Galactic Archive Series captures every bit of the creature’s charm and attitude — from its brown-spotted fur and expressive frown to its unpredictable temperament.

Developed by Disney Consumer Products in partnership with Lucasfilm, the Loth-cat features poseable legs, an articulated head and tail, and touch-activated sound effects. According to lead designer Alex Wilde, fans will be able to trigger different reactions depending on how they interact with it. “If you pet it while it’s lying down, it purrs. But if it’s standing up, expect a growl,” Wilde explains. “We wanted to make sure that playful, slightly temperamental personality came through.”
The team went to remarkable lengths to ensure authenticity, using original sound files from both Star Wars Rebels — where the Loth-cat species debuted in 2014 — and Ahsoka to give the plush its signature voice. Its packaging even resembles a Galactic Archive space kennel, emphasizing its in-universe design and collector appeal.
For Wilde, the project was as much a creative tribute as it was a design challenge. “Creating the Loth-cat was a thrill,” he says. “It brought together my love for Star Wars and the joy of crafting something that fans can both display and interact with.”
Joining previous Archive Series releases like the electronic Dejarik board and mouse droid, the Loth-cat is set to become a must-have collectible — perfect for fans eager to add a little purr (and maybe a growl) to their galaxy this Life Day.
