While promoting her upcoming film Adulthood, actress Billie Lourd once again hinted at the possibility of returning to the Star Wars universe — and this time, she wasn’t alone. In a lighthearted interview with Collider’s Taylor Gates, Lourd and her castmates Kaya Scodelario, Josh Gad, and Anthony Carrigan shared which major franchises they would most want to join.

The group quickly landed on Star Wars as their top pick. Gad, who is currently attached to a sequel to Spaceballs, was the first to bring it up, declaring that he’d jump at the chance to be part of the galaxy far, far away. Scodelario echoed his enthusiasm, adding that she would also love to lend her voice to an animated or Lego spinoff — joking that combining Lego Star Wars with their casting wish list would be the ultimate dream scenario.
Lourd, of course, has deeper ties to the franchise than her co-stars. The daughter of the late Carrie Fisher, she previously appeared as Lieutenant Connix in the sequel trilogy. Her response to the idea was simple but telling: “More Star Wars, more life.” It was a comment that carried both humor and sincerity, sparking speculation that she may be open to reprising her role or even taking on a new one within future projects.
Carrigan joined the conversation by agreeing that Star Wars was the franchise he’d most like to be part of — but only if he could do it alongside his Adulthood co-stars. That playful suggestion led to Lourd doubling down, stating clearly, “I’m available,” which fans may interpret as a wink toward Lucasfilm and Disney.
While the discussion was casual, the shared enthusiasm from the Adulthood cast underscores just how enduring and appealing Star Wars remains across generations of actors. For Lourd, specifically, the comments add to the ongoing curiosity about whether she will return to the saga in some capacity, either in live action or voice work. With Lucasfilm actively developing new stories set across different eras of the franchise, the door for her potential return certainly remains open.
