Fans of Ahsoka have reason to celebrate as new reports suggest a star-studded return for Season 2. According to Kristian Harloff, Hayden Christensen will take on a more prominent role as Anakin Skywalker, joined by Ariana Greenblatt as young Ahsoka and Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan Kenobi in a series of flashbacks to the Clone Wars era.

The decision to bring back these beloved actors seems to build on the success of their previous appearances. Greenblatt’s portrayal of young Ahsoka in Season 1 received widespread praise, while Christensen’s reunion with Ahsoka as a Force ghost left fans eagerly anticipating more. McGregor’s return marks only his second time reprising Obi-Wan since his titular 2022 Disney+ series, making his return to Clone Wars-era storytelling a nostalgic treat.

While a live-action Clone Wars series remains unlikely, these flashbacks may be the closest fans get to reliving the iconic animated series in live action. The inclusion of McGregor in Clone Wars armor, a first for the actor, is sure to generate excitement among long-time Star Wars fans.

Season 2 of Ahsoka promises to delve deeper into the bonds forged during the Clone Wars, expanding on the legacy of these characters. Disney+ has yet to confirm a release date, but anticipation is already building for what’s shaping up to be a must-watch season.

Since the show ended with Thrawn's monologue about "I knew your master so I knew your tactics." All this into another 8 ep. with a 35-50min runtime. It's too much, Oh and I forgot You have Shin and Baylan storyline too to cram into show too. We need less not another show of…
