Temuera Morrison, best known for portraying both Jango Fett and his clone-son Boba Fett in the Star Wars franchise, is rallying fans to demand his return to the galaxy far, far away. With no confirmation from Lucasfilm about a second season of The Book of Boba Fett or any new appearances, Morrison is calling on fans to write letters, send emails, or even fax Lucasfilm in hopes of reviving the bounty hunter’s on-screen presence.

Speaking alongside Daniel Logan (who played young Boba in Attack of the Clones) at FanX's Tampa Bay Comic Convention, Morrison acknowledged that no future projects are planned for the character. Still, he encouraged fans to "treasure those moments" and let Lucasfilm know they want more Fett. “Please give Daniel Logan and Temuera Morrison another chance,” he said.
The Book of Boba Fett, which aired in early 2022, was met with mixed reactions. Many fans felt the series softened the once-feared bounty hunter too much, impacting the character’s long-term viability. At a 2023 panel in Chicago, Morrison admitted that the show’s lukewarm reception likely played a role in Disney not inviting him to appear in the upcoming The Mandalorian & Grogu movie or a potential Season 4 of The Mandalorian.
Despite pitching to appear in Ahsoka Season 2 as Captain Rex, Morrison revealed that Lucasfilm gave noncommittal responses. He described himself as “a peach in a jar” on grandma’s shelf—preserved for later and, hopefully, tastier when the time comes.
As the Star Wars franchise moves forward with projects like Star Wars: Starfighter (2027), Maul: Shadow Lord, and The Mandalorian & Grogu (2026), Morrison’s fate as Boba Fett remains uncertain. However, his passion and the enduring popularity of the character could still pave the way for a return—especially if fans answer his call and flood Lucasfilm with support.
