The next chapter of LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy promises higher stakes and a dangerous new villain. Set to premiere September 19, Chapter 2, titled Pieces of the Past, introduces Solitus—a Duros Sith wielding chained purple lightsabers, voiced by Legion and Beauty and the Beast star Dan Stevens. Solitus, once the Jedi Master of fan-favorite Jedi Bob, has fallen to the dark side and now mentors Darth Dev, raising the threat level across the LEGO Star Wars universe.

Solitus’ reveal coincides with a new LEGO set featuring the villain, Darth Dev, and hero Sig Greebling in a high-speed chase involving reimagined vehicles like the Force Burner Snowspeeder. Interestingly, the set shows Sig wielding an orange lightsaber, a color typically absent from light-side Jedi lore—hinting at how unpredictable this "rebuilt" galaxy truly is.
Cast members shared insights into their characters' evolving dynamics. Gaten Matarazzo (Sig) explained how Solitus' mission to “obliterate the universe” forces Sig and his brother Dev to reluctantly work together. Tony Revolori (Darth Dev) described Dev as emotionally conflicted and desperate for belonging, seeing Solitus as the true Sith mentor he's always craved.
Bobby Moynihan teased that Jedi Bob must finally confront his past mistakes, symbolized by Solitus' rise, while Ahmed Best returns as the half-machine, all-evil Darth Jar Jar, who’s more convinced than ever that he's the real Phantom Menace.
Fan-favorite voices also return, including Ashley Eckstein as Brickheadz Ahsoka, still haunted by her past but determined to guide others and understand Solitus’ dark motivations. Meanwhile, Ben Schwartz brings Jaxxon to life, hoping his green rabbit smuggler will one day become a LEGO minifig.
As the stakes escalate, LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy doubles down on fun, chaos, and an unexpected villain threatening both the galaxy—and the creativity of LEGO itself.
